Conditions

1. Each burner must be manufactured at a time when the manufacturer’s ISO 9001 certification is current, and that ISO 9001 certification has not changed materially from the certification which was supplied to WorkSafe as part of the approval application.
2. Each burner must only use as fuel the substance listed in the category “substances intended for use by burner” above.
3. Each burner must be supplied with a New Zealand specific installation and use instruction manual that:
    a. uses language and units of measurement consistent with that used in New Zealand;
    b. prescribes maintenance details for the burner;
    c. details where spare parts can be obtained from a New Zealand based supplier;
    d. where a warning applies, provides detailed instructions, with units of measurement, on steps to carry out to avoid the warning situation; and
    e. if followed, will ensure that the installation of the burner is safe and compliant with New Zealand law.
4. Each burner must be supplied with a certificate of verification that the burner conforms to BS EN 267:2009+A1:2011.
5. Each burner must be supplied with the record number of this approval, BUR2228, and the substances intended for use by the burner marked on the burner in a manner that will ensure it will remain legible for the life of the burner under the conditions in which the burner is installed.
6. WorkSafe New Zealand must be notified of any changes to the design, or any reported faults related to the design or manufacture, of these burner models. Notifications should be made to hsapplications@worksafe.govt.nz.
7. This approval is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of approval below.
8. This approval becomes invalid immediately if any of these conditions are not complied with.
